*Blog- Write a blog that would interest other people. Think of a popular subject to write about that people will want to come back for more. Have good content and make the blog very creative. Some good ideas are "how to blogs", "Information blogs", or "Current news blogs". Be creative and have fun writing.

*Traffic- After your blog is all set up your going to want to reel in some surfers to read your blog. So i recommend you do a few things at this point. Visit as many search engines as you can and add your URL. Most are free but just be careful. Another good idea is to sign up for yahoo answers and give your URL to people that are looking for what you wrote about. Also watch out for those sites that will tell you they will advertise your blog as long as you put their html on your blog.

*Ad Space- Now that your getting traffic to y our blog, its time to set up some space on your blog to sell ads to company's. It may take some time before getting the right amount of traffic t o your blog before you can sell ad space. Company's look for blogs that get tons of traffic s o they will get lots of people to view their ads. And the more traffic you get the more they will pay. Now they will get a hold of you through your email thats on the blog. They will ask to have an ad on your site. From there you can set your price and make it a weekly or monthly payment. And as far as prices go, they range from anywhere to $5- $20 a week as long as your have a lot of traffic.

*AdSense- This is another way to make some money along with selling ad space. This will work just as good as long as you have plenty of traffic. AdSense is pretty much pay per click. Google will give you a code to paste on your blog. Google's ads will then appear on your blog. So when someone clicks on Google's ads you can earn from anywhere to 1 cent -$70 per click. I have seen some pretty high clicks before. It all depends on your CTR (click through rate).
